ABOUT

In 2015, Berber & Q took over an old taxi repair shop, under the railway arches of Haggerston, in the heart of East London.

Taking influence and inspiration from wherever we find it, we focus primarily on the flavours and ingredients of North Africa and the Mediterranean which we love, combined with our passion for American barbecue.

Our industrial arch invites you to use all of your senses, enjoying our laid-back, upbeat atmosphere with close friends & family.

FOOD

Our food focuses around live-fire cooking and, we think, is best enjoyed with a selection of dishes to share amongst the table.

A combination of seasonal mezze with smoked and grilled meats and a wide variety of vegetables enables us to merge our favourite flavours of the Mediterranean and North Africa with barbecue cooking.

We cook over fire because we think it tastes better. Slow-cooked meats and charred vegetables that are designed to share and enjoy.

DRINK

Cocktails have always been a large part of the Berber & Q experience, with an evolving menu that changes seasonally and utilises spices and spirits that complement our food.

We also offer a range of wines and work with passionate producers, focusing largely on a low-intervention list. All our wines have been carefully chosen to be the ideal companions with your barbecued feast.

RESERVE

Reservations can be made at any time for Berber & Q. We maintain some space for walk-ins mid-week. During busy periods we operate a waiting list where it is possible to turn up, put your name down and we will send you a text message when your table is ready.

We are open for dinner on Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm and offer lunch on Saturdays from 12 until 3pm.

Please note our kitchen will close at 10pm Tuesday to Thursday and at 10:30pm on Friday & Saturday.
